Come hang out with other folks in recovery from PDX and surrounding areas! A free afternoon of community relaxation and fun in the historic Taborspace building.
Saturday, April 19, 2-5pm
TABORSPACE
5441 SE Belmont St., Portland, OR 97215
We’ve got the dining room and yard (with walking labyrinth) reserved for whatever the April weather brings.
At 3pm, we will host an informal panel/Q&A session with experienced community members on inquiry groups and mentorship, leaving the rest of the afternoon to hang out and get to know each other! There will be short breathwork and movement sessions available in the yard, and plenty of time and space to just do your own thing.
This is a community-powered event! Things you can bring include:
- Snacks or sober beverages to share
- Stuff for a Free box/table
- Games or activities
- Small gifting items
- Your knowledge and experience
- Good vibes
- Just you is just fine 🙂
If you’ve been looking to join or form an inquiry group, this is a great chance to meet people in the area. We hope to see a bunch of folks there!
The necessary reminders:
- This is an event for folks in recovery (only, please).Â
- Pets and animals are not allowed inside the building (trained service animals are welcome!)
