This month’s hike will be at Hoyt Arboretum .
We will meet at 2:00 pm at the Visitor Center.
At 2:15 we will head out to take the Wildwood & Redwood Trail Loop. This loop has a distance of 2.5 miles with elevation gain of 354 feet and it is estimated to be completed in 90 minutes.
Parking is available at the Hoyt Arboretum in their lot for a fee. There is also street parking nearby which is free.
There are restrooms at the beginning and the of the trail.
The meeting point is also accessible by TriMet on line #15, and the Washington Park Shuttle.
We will go rain or shine!
We will end at the Redwood Sanctuary (very close to parking) area and a 15 minute meditation will be offered for those that would like to join.
Our volunteer coordinator, Caz, will have some extra snacks and water and will guide us but please come prepared with appropriate shoes, rain jacket, water, and a small snack for you if you may like one.
Please reach out to Caz, @bootsncaz on Instagram, with questions or for help with coordinating rides.
