The Recovery Dharma PDX Intersangha has its quarterly intersangha meeting to bring our community and sanghas together. Please join us at the Quarterly Intersangha meeting to be a part our sangha of sanghas!
All community members are welcome to attend the Quarterly Intersangha Meeting
There is no RD PDX Intersangha without you! Service is dana!
We ask each meeting to send at least one representative to report on the health of your sangha with information such as how attendance has been, whether there are enough people volunteering to fill needed roles, and whether your sangha needs any support from the intersangha. The representative also votes on behalf of the sangha for decisions that are taken up during the quarterly meeting, such as position elections and budget decisions.
All community members are welcome to bring new items to discuss. This is your opportunity to take an active role in shaping the Recovery Dharma PDX Community!
We also need volunteers to fill the following roles and committees:
- Secretary – Maintain intersangha contact list, create minutes documents for intersangha meetings, roll call and quorum for quarterly,meetings
- Treasurer – Manage our bank accounts, monitor donations and spending, report on the financial health of the intersangha
- Communications – Manage our social media presence, help distribute periodic information (via email, social media, etc.), keep our website up to date
- Wise Friends Committee Chair & members- Deliver periodic workshops, organize speaker programs and provide wise friend/mentor support. Meet monthly to plan these activities
- Unity Committee Chair & members – Help organize safe and supporting non-meeting connection events to bring people closer together, such as bowling, hikes, and picnics
