Friday
2:00pm – 4:00pm – Registration Begins
This will be a time to meet new sangha members, connect with friends, and get acquainted with the venue. There will be an art table to create and decorate your name tag for the weekend.
4:00pm – 6:00pm – Welcome and Annual Meeting
Our opening session will include a Summit overview and updates from board members during the annual meeting. To kick off our weekend of Celebrating 5 years of Recovery Dharma, we will hear from a long time friend and former board member.
6:00pm – 7:00pm – Dinner Break
7:00pm – 8:30pm – Recovery Dharma Meeting
Saturday
8:15am – 8:45am – Morning Yoga
9:00 – 9:30am – Welcome, Announcements, Morning Meditation
9:35 – 11:00am – Understanding Identity and Affinity
Participants will learn about the importance and prevalence of identity and affinity groups within our program. There will be a panel followed by small group discussions.
11:05-11:50am – Identities Exercise
Participants will reflect on the importance of their social identities and come together to cultivate compassion for themselves and connection with their wise friends.
11:50-12:00pm – Closing Reflections and Announcements
12:00pm – Lunch break
2:00 – 3:00pm – Metta & Self Compassion Presentation
3:00 – 3:15pm- Break
3:15 – 5:00pm -Trauma, Addiction, and the Nervous System
We will learn about the interplay of trauma and addiction and its effects on the nervous system. Participants will learn helpful practices to regulate the nervous system. Participants will watch a video, engage in a meditation, and practice techniques in small groups.
5:00pm – Dinner Break
7:00pm – Evening Group Activity
Let’s celebrate all we have accomplished in 5 years and have fun doing it!

9:05 – 10:15am- Wise Friends and Mentors
Join us for a talk on Wise Friends and Mentors, followed by small group discussions on how to start a meeting, what an intersangha is, or how to get involved with an inquiry circle.
10:15 – 10:30am- Break
10:30 – 11:30am: Creativity and Reflection
An opportunity to express creativity through a collaborative activity will be offered. Members will be able to reflect and share on highlights of the weekend.
11:30am – Closing and Final Words
We will end our time together with a closing ceremony and cord-cutting circle.
